Dr Donn Brennan

Dr Donn Brennan, from County Kildare, Ireland, qualified in medicine in 1979 at University College Dublin and spent the following decade working in different specialities in hospitals throughout Ireland, before becoming a General Practitioner (GP) in the UK. He was one of the first western medical doctors to train in Ayurveda, firstly at Maharishi International University in the USA and then at the renowned Ayurveda University in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. Dr Brennan earned his Master’s Degree in Ayurveda at Middlesex University in London.
Since 1990 Donn has worked tirelessly promoting and consulting in Maharishi AyurVeda in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and also internationally, most recently through a highly respected series of webinars. He has featured widely on radio and television and in the press. He has also given many seminars, advanced talks and courses, including courses for medical doctors and specialist courses on Maharishi AyurVeda pulse diagnosis. Many thousands regularly consult with him for ongoing health advice.
Dr Donn Brennan is the founding President of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association of the United Kingdom, the representative body of UK Ayurvedic practitioners currently assisting in government proposals for regulating the standards and practise of Ayurveda in the UK. He is also a director of the European Herbal Practitioners Association.
